GET TO KNOW OUR STORY

Their story started when Veronica (AKA “Vero”) and Juan met at a house party, located at Juan’s aunt’s house in July 2002. As she walked into the house, she couldn’t help but notice a handsome guy looking at her. As she was glancing at him, Juan walked into the kitchen and grabbed two Budweiser’s and walked over to her, he then offered a beer to Veronica. Later that evening, they both realized they wanted to get to know each other and see where it would lead. They talked for a couple months off and on, a few months went by without any connection, as time flew by, they approached a year later and had a reconnection in August 2003. A new beginning started for Juan and Veronica, they started dating on November 1st 2003, becoming girlfriend and boyfriend. As the years gone by, they made incredible memories, there was good and bad ones, every day was worth it to them both. Sixteen years later with a lifetime of memories and two healthy beautiful daughters, little did Veronica know this year would be a year to remember. Their 16th year anniversary arrived on November 1st 2019; that Friday evening, they took a drive to Lake Tahoe. Veronica was happy to get away to spend some time with Juan. She then began to notice odd behaviors from Juan throughout the evening, including massive texting. Veronica also noticed odd text messages from her cousin “Vanessa” at 10:30 pm, asking the strangest question, such as, “how’s the weather out there”. Veronica had no idea about what was occurring and little did Veronica know that Juan had something special planned for that evening. On November 1st 2019, Juan proposed in Lake Tahoe, in their hotel room with lighted candles surrounding the room, rose pedals scattered, heart balloons floating around and the letters spread across the bed saying “MARRY ME VERO”. As Veronica walked around in complete shock, Juan got on one knee and ASKED. Veronica was so thrilled with a rush of happiness; this day would be one that would never be forgotten. Words cannot describe how surprised Veronica was when Juan secretly planned the night away and had found that her cousin, “Vanessa”, and her husband, “Mike”, were behind the scenes of helping Juan setup the surprise. When their special day arrives, they will be cherishing seventeen years together uniting as one on May 29th, 2021. They both cannot wait till their special day to celebrate with family and friends, to finally become husband and wife.
